Moline, IL, August 28, 2013 - Elliott Aviation, a leader in a diverse set of business aviation services including more Garmin G1000 King Air installations than all dealers worldwide combined, today announced the inclusion of the first Garmin G5000 mock up at their NBAA 2013 Las Vegas tradeshow booth, C8143. This follows their recent achievement of starting on their 100th Garmin G1000 King Air installations and the announcement from Garmin regarding the Beechjet G5000 program.

The Garmin G5000 integrated avionics suite incorporates graphical weather, synthetic vision, traffic, terrain and other avoidance systems in a simple, 3 panel display unit featuring 12 inch, high resolution liquid crystal displays. The G5000 system can replace an entire avionics package in a Beechjet which, due to its advanced technology, is estimated to increase useful load by an average of 200 pounds.

“As a Beechjet authorized service center, we’re thrilled to be able to offer solutions for ageing Beechjets,” said Mark Wilken, Elliott Aviation’s Director of Avionics Sales. “We’ve seen the success of the G1000 program and what it can do for an airframe with older avionics. The G5000 will allow Beechjet operators to fly their airplanes indefinitely.”

The Beechjet G5000 STC is expected to be available in 2015. Special incentive pricing will be available to operators that pre book their Beechjet Garmin G5000 installation.
