Elliott Aviation, a leading aircraft MRO provider, has received FAA PMA authorization to manufacture aircraft parts. The authorization was completed by their engineering department and authorized by the Chicago area MIDO.

With their new authorization, Elliott Aviation will begin by creating ADS-B kits for their recent STC in the Premier I/IA. This will be followed by creating parts for a recently approved baggage door wear plate for the Phenom 100/300 and quickly followed by creating parts for additional ADS-B kits for Elliott’s ADS-B STC’s.

“We are looking forward to manufacturing our own parts,” said Mark Wilken, Vice President of Avionics Programs and Operational Logistics for Elliott Aviation. “Our engineering department has made major developments in the past few years and we were excited to take on this project. By manufacturing our own parts, we can ensure the quality of workmanship, especially for our STC kits, firsthand. Our Business Development team has many other kits and parts in the works for us to manufacture to fully utilize this new authorization.”

Elliott Aviation’s parts department currently carries over 10,000 airframe parts including rotables, landing gear exchanges, brakes, and windshields. They also carry over 3,000 unique avionics parts to include navigation communication, traffic collision awareness, primary flight displays, multi-function displays and more. Elliott plans to start stocking PMA parts by early 2017.
