Elliott Aviation, the industry’s leading Garmin G5000 retrofitter, has completed their seventh retrofit of a Garmin G5000 in a Beechjet 400A/Hawker 400XP. The retrofit was completed in a 1999 Beechjet 400A. The seven installations includes five delivered at their Moline, IL facility and two at their Des Moines, IA location.
Elliott Aviation has installed more G5000 installations in Beechjet 400A/Hawker 400XP’s than all other dealers in the world, combined. The installation can increase the useful load of the aircraft by 200 pounds or more.
The Garmin G5000 retrofit program for the Beechjet 400A and Hawker 400XP completely replaces all existing avionics including the autopilot. The instrument panel of the G5000 includes three 12” landscape orientation LCD displays that provide the pilot and copilot with all of the latest, industry-leading technology like synthetic vision, electronic charts, WAAS/LPV, XM weather, engine indication and MFD range rings. In addition, the system meets all December 31st, 2019 FAA ADS-B requirements.
“We continue to see success in delivering G5000’s in the 400A and 400XP,” said Conrad Theisen, Director of Avionics Sales for Elliott Aviation. “At this rate, we will be nearing 10 completed installations by the end of the year.”
