Elliott Aviation Hires Stan Melling as General Manager of FCM

Minneapolis, MN, May 17, 2021 –Elliott Aviation, a leader in Aviation MRO Services, has hired Stan Melling as General Manager of their Minneapolis facility, located at the Flying Cloud Airport (KFCM). Stan joins Elliott Aviation with over 30 years of aviation experience managing many different disciplines, including maintenance, production, and sales.

Stan was most recently the Director of Special Projects for ModTruss, where he led the development, implementation, and promotion of ModTruss Structures maintenance, inspection, and warranty program. Prior to his experience at ModTruss, he held several positions at Embraer, including Acting Vice President of Operations, Senior Director of Production, and Program Manager. Earlier in his career, Stan was an Aircraft Mechanic at Elliott Aviation’s FCM facility. He is an A&P and private pilot.

Stan will be responsible for overseeing all scheduled and unscheduled events at Elliott Aviation’s Minneapolis facility. This includes the day-to-day operations and customer interaction.
