Moline, IL, August 02, 2021 – Elliott Aviation, a leader in Aviation MRO Services, has promoted Josh Oestern to avionics sales manager. Josh was most recently a project manager for Elliott Aviation’s MRO services at their headquarters in Moline, IL.
Josh started his aviation career at Elliott in 2008 as an entry-level avionics technician. He quickly advanced to hold positions like tech level two, tech level three, project lead, and crew chief. He was promoted to project manager in 2018 and managed large MRO projects, including avionics, paint, interior, maintenance, and accessories. Josh has experience installing and managing major retrofits, having personally been involved in more than 340 of the company’s over 400 turbine avionics programs, including Elliott Aviation’s industry-leading Garmin G1000 NXi, Garmin G5000, and Collins Aerospace’s Pro Line 21™ modernization programs.
Under the leadership of the director of avionics sales, Josh will manage sales of Elliott Aviation’s avionics programs in Moline, IL, Minneapolis, MN, Des Moines, IA, and Atlanta, GA.
